Hello!! My name is Taylor!
Lover of teaching, flowers, Jesus, and all things lovely.
I grew up in Northwest WI in the small town of Cumberland with my three siblings and wonderful parents. We had ourselves a small dairy farm, so I was beyond blessed to have both parents at home. With two sisters, we always liked to do fun activities together. Something that all three of us enjoyed was dressing up, doing our hair and makeup, and going outside and taking photos of each other. I never thought much about a future in photography, I just simply enjoyed capturing the beauty in others. I started out very small – clients would just pay for my gas money, but that changed quickly.
When deciding what to go to school for, I didn’t even consider photography. I have always had a passion for teaching children. Because of this, I went to school for elementary education. The University of Wisconsin River Falls was my home for a few years while I completed my degree.
Throughout college, I would come home on the weekends and have photography sessions. So during the week I would be at school teaching kiddos and during the weekend I was a photographer, but that is exactly what I wanted. My passion lies within teaching and photography and because I can’t choose one, I will continue to do both.
I now live in Shell Lake, WI with my handsome fiancé. I continue to do both teaching and photography and I am loving every minute of it!
So there it is, that’s my story.
Now for the photography details – I am a lover of people. I love making people happy and I adore making people feel good about themselves. The best part is, I can do both through photography.
I am a natural light photographer, meaning indoor photographs are not my specialty. I love the beautiful world around us, so I want to take advantage of it.
Honestly, I am just so blessed to have so many opportunities in life. A huge thank you goes out to my family, my love, my friends, my past clients, and my future clients!
Blessings & XOXO
